The choice of the vehicle’s fuel type—gas or electric—and steering orientation, whether left-hand or right-hand drive, can be selected based on the instructor’s preference. In certain cities, such as Surrey and Vancouver, driving schools must also obtain a specific business license to operate. This business license may require a small identification tag to be placed near the main license plate, indicating that the vehicle is used for instruction, including for Tesla driving lessons.
